Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center offers this live, online Q-and-A for families with children diagnosed with anorectal malformations. During this event, our co-hosts, Belinda Dickie, MD, PhD and Monica Holder, BSN, RN, CPN, will discuss treatment approaches for children with anorectal malformations and answer questions from you and other families online, in real-time.

Belinda Dickie, MD, PhD
Belinda Hsi Dickie, MD, PhD, is pediatric colorectal surgeon in the Pena Colorectal Center at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Dickie has completed fellowships in advanced minimally invasive surgery focusing on upper and lower intestinal surgery, as well as pediatric vascular malformations and pediatric colorectal surgery. Dr. Dickie has a special interest in pediatric colorectal surgery, in particular reconstructive surgery of anorectal malformations, Hirschsprung disease, motility disorders and inflammatory bowel disease. She is also interested in integrating minimally invasive surgical techniques to the management of these diseases. She is interested in studying the long-term outcomes of these conditions and how to improve the overall health of these children.
Monica Holder, BSN, RN, CPN
Monica Holder, BSN, RN is a certified pediatric nurse in the Pena Colorectal Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Monica joined Cincinnati Children’s in 2002 and her focus has been working with inpatients and outpatients at the Pena Colorectal Center since 2005. Dedicated to spreading nursing knowledge on colorectal disorders, she has collaborated with a group of surgeons on an outreach trip to Paris and held a nursing conference in Brazil. She is involved with hosting the annual three-day nursing conference at Cincinnati Children’s, which focuses on sharing a vast amount of knowledge on caring for patients with colorectal disorders. She enjoys being a great networking resource for nurses and nurse practitioners.
